Elvis Picardo, CFA®, CIM
Mr. Picardo is CEO of CFA Society Vancouver and is responsible for execution of its strategic plans and ongoing management. As CEO, Mr. Picardo will focus on the Society’s growth initiatives, external engagement, and long-term positioning, with the overall objective of delivering and enhancing member value. He has over 30 years of experience in Vancouver’s investment and financial sectors, with leadership roles in wealth management, research and strategy. A CFA Charterholder since 1998, he also holds the Canadian Investment Manager designation and degrees in engineering and management studies. Mr. Picardo has been an active supporter of CFA Society Vancouver since 2012 and served on the Society's Board of Directors over a 10-year period, including a one-year term as President. He is deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of investment professionals and helping the public attain financial literacy.
