The health and safety of our members, volunteers, event attendees and employees are always our top priority.
We have been staying up to date with the CDC
information and guidance. With the rapidly increasing number of cases of Coronavirus worldwide and the elevated concern shared by the broader business community, The CFA Society Washington, DC Board Executive Committee has created a new set of policies that are effective immediately.
- We are asking anyone who has visited affected areas including China, Iran, Italy, South Korea, and Hong Kong within the past 14 days, please refrain from visiting the CFAW office or attending an event hosted by the Society and follow the most rigorous quarantine measures erring on the side of caution.
- A no handshake policy is in effect until further notice.
- We would respectfully ask that no one attend any event hosted by the Society or visits the Society office when they are feeling ill or experiencing a fever.
For members inquiring about our plan for programs and events, please know that the health and safety of our members and attendees are our top priorities. We have postponed all in-person events through the end of May and continue to explore virtual options for future activities. In the event that we need to cancel a program, we will articulate this to our community as quickly as possible.
