The CFA® Program is a globally recognized, graduate level curriculum that provides a strong foundation of real-world investment analysis and portfolio management skills along with the practical knowledge you need in today's investment industry. It also emphasizes the highest ethical and professional standards.

Each year, tens of thousands of candidates enroll in the CFA® Program and sit for the exams in test centers all over the world. Completing the CFA® Program confirms a mastery of the rigorous CFA® curriculum, signifies passing all three exam levels, and is one of the requirements for earning the CFA® charter.

 CIPM Program

The Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) designation offers career distinction for all investment professionals charged with appraising and selecting portfolio managers, evaluating portfolio performance, and communicating with clients.

 Investment Foundations Program

The CFA Institute Investment Foundations® Program gives those working with investment decision makers a clear understanding of the investment industry, roles and responsibilities, and the vital importance of ethical conduct.

 University Affiliation Program

Academic institutions that embed a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK)—including the Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct—into their curriculum may be eligible to participate in the University Affiliation Program.

An Affiliated University signals to their students and to employers that their curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA® Program exams.

 The Asper Master of Finance (MFin)

The MFin program accepts, reviews and processes applications on a rolling basis throughout the year, for one entry point annually  – Fall (August).

 Asper MFin Mentor Program

Coordinated by the Asper Career Development Centre, the Asper MFin Mentor Program provides students the opportunity to connect with leading professionals to expand their network, develop leadership skills and gain a competitive edge with unique Finance specific knowledge.

 University of Winnipeg

The Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Winnipeg breaks down barriers between traditional management disciplines and exposes students to a wider range of study than at most business schools.

 Research Challenge

The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a global competition that tests the equity research and valuation, investment report writing, and presentation skills of university students. This annual educational initiative promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring an intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills.

 Ethics Challenge

The Canadian Ethics Challenge strives to embody CFA Institute’s global mission to promote “the highest standards of ethics.” It touches on many of CFA Institute’s Future of Finance ​six areas of focus including: Transparency and Fairness, Regulation and Enforcement and Safeguarding the System. It also promotes ethical awareness and fosters a healthy financial environment.
