On February 29, 2025, CFA Society Bulgaria proudly hosted the Local Final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, followed by the CFA Charter Award Ceremony. The event attracted significant interest from the financial community, bringing together numerous CFA members, professionals, and students passionate about investment analysis.
CFA Institute Research Challenge
This year’s Local Final of the CFA Institute Research Challenge featured three outstanding teams:
- Team Dividend Detectives – American University in Bulgaria
- Team Capital Explorers – American University in Bulgaria
- Team Equity Explorers – University of National and World Economy
After a highly competitive challenge and exceptional equity research presentations, Team Dividend Detectives from the American University in Bulgaria was crowned the winner. In addition to the grand prize, Team Capital Explorers from the American University in Bulgaria was awarded with the Best Equity Story Award, sponsored by Impetus Capital.

CFA Charter Award Ceremony
Following the Research Challenge, the event continued with the official CFA Charter Award Ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the careers of the new CFA Charterholders.
