New ESG rules are on the horizon as the European Union aims to steer capital flows toward sustainable growth. The EU’s plan, which includes the new Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), requires all financial market participants serving EU investors to consider ESG risks and make ESG disclosures at the organization and financial product level. On top of this new regulation, delegated regulation (UE) 2021/1253 entered into force in August this year, amending the MiFID II regulation regarding the integration of sustainability preferences applicable to investment firms. These two regulatory innovations are a real challenge for financial institutions. In order to help you implement these regulations, MSCI has teamed up with the CFA Society to offer you a friendly and interactive event on these two topics.
This event aims to give you key information to better understand the challenges related to the new regulatory environment. This will be achieved via 2 stages: a panel of experts, closed by a cocktail.
