Over the last few months, several US banks have collapsed and the old, venerable Swiss giant, Credit Suisse, has been saved from a certain demise. Eerily reminiscent of the first phases of the financial crisis in 2009, we are reminded that financial stability is not guaranteed. But could a bank run happen in Norway too? Are the conditions there, or are Norwegian banks well protected from such a fate?We have invited Magnus Vie Sundal, CFA, from Borea Asset Management to discuss this. The lecture/discussion will be followed by a social gathering at Vesper Bar, Dronning Eufemias gate 32, from 6pm.
