To promote the highest standards of ethics, education and professional excellence in the Thai capital market, CFA Society Thailand has focused on increasing the number of candidates enrolling for the CFA Level II and Level III Exam and improving exam pass rates in Thailand.
With financial support from Thailand's Capital Market Development Fund, CFA Society Thailand called for CFA Level II and Level III Exam candidates to apply for CFA Exam scholarships. Each scholarship covered the CFA Program digital curriculum and study tools, exam registration for August 2022, and Wiley's Gold online preparation course.
CFA Society Thailand had a strong response from people applying for the available scholarships. The local society, therefore, decided to host a Facebook Live session to randomly select names. In total, the local society awarded 50 scholarships to CFA Level II Exam candidates and 30 scholarships to CFA Level III Exam candidates.
“We want to promote the development and modernization of the Thai capital market by increasing the number of Thai CFA® charterholders who commit to the industry's highest standards of ethics and excellence. This scholarship project makes it possible for anyone to continue their CFA Program journey and, in the future, become our CFA charterholders,” said Sornchai Suneta, Vice President of CFA Society Thailand.
