Levitt was the longest serving chairman in the history of the SEC, where he tirelessly worked to protect and empower America's investors. He's the currently the host of a weekly Bloomberg Radio program called "A Closer Look with Arthur Levitt". He will be joining us to discuss how he has seen shareholder activism develop and evolve throughout his career.
Mr. Levitt will be joined by author, professor and hedge fund manager Jeff Gramm. Mr. Gramm teaches value investing at Columbia Business School, is the author of Dear Chairman: Boardroom Battles and the Rise of Shareholder Activism. The book has been praised as "a terrific read" by Andrew Ross Sorkin in The New York Times, "a revelation" by the Financial Times, and "a grand story" by The Wall Street Journal.
