On Tuesday 27th May CFA Society Ireland, together with Bitwise, hosted an engaging and timely event exploring one of the most pressing trends in global finance: the growing institutional shift into digital assets. As we move through 2025, the digital asset ecosystem is no longer just about innovation — it's about implementation, integration, and infrastructure. On 20th February we were delighted to host the Research Challenge Local Final. The CFA Society Ireland was delighted to contribute to the CFA Institute Blueprint for the 2024 - 2029 Legislative Period in the EU . The Blueprint focuses on five main legislative areas which cover: Resiliency of Capital Markets, Technology, Business Conduct, Sustainability and Pensions. These themes align with CFA Institute’s Research and Policy Center focus areas.     This Blueprint provides key recommendations for EU policymakers and the financial sector for the next 5 years. We were delighted to host our 2024 Investment Forum at a packed house in The Westbury last week, thanks to the generous support of Natixis Investment Managers and Lazard Asset Management . On February 1st we hosted our second annual Investment Forecast Dinner with PGIM as the sponsor. We had a record attendance of 150 investment professionals enjoy a 3 course dinner in the Conrad Hotel and to see hugely engaging and topical presentations from Gregory Peters, Co-Chief Investment Officer of PGIM Fixed Income and Dr Pippa Malmgren, American Policy Analyst, Author & Former US Presidential Advisor.  A fantastic evening was had by all attendees with great networking and discussions on the presentations of the evening.
