We brought together leading voices from across the investment landscape to unpack one of the most pressing challenges facing Europe today. This year, CFA Society Portugal celebrated International Women’s Day in a slightly different way. Our members gathered for a vibrant salsa dancing experience, guided by three professional instructors who led participants through the rhythm, energy, and joy of this iconic dance. No previous experience was needed, just a smile, a bit of curiosity, and the willingness to try something new. Many brought their partners along, turning the event into a shared moment and a lovely surprise to celebrate the day together. Bank of Portugal and CFA Society Portugal held the national final of the “My Financial Future” contest, which took place at the Bank of Portugal’s office in Porto. The winning team of the second edition of this contest is called Capital Minds and is from FEUC—the Faculty of Economics at the University of Coimbra. The panel explored a key topic for the global economy: Is De-Dollarization a megatrend, or a temporary phenomenon.
