CFA Society Hungary held its annual Christmas Dinner & Charter Award Ceremony on 3 December 2025 at Corvinus University of Budapest. At the event, 11 new members received their CFA® charters, while the total number of new charterholders in 2025 was 19. CFA Institute and  CFA Society Hungary  are proud to announce the launch of the local round of the 2026 Research Challenge We cordially invite institutions involved in higher education in Hungary to participate in the Hungarian local round of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, a widely respected global equity research contest. Each institution may nominate up to THREE teams of 3 to 5 full-time students without a CFA charter or any extensive professional investment research experience (except interns). On November 15, 2023, CFA Society Hungary - in collaboration with MOL - held a networking event at the MOL Campus in Budapest, highlighting the strategy and plans of MOL, leading Hungarian energy company. CFA Society Hungary, the leading association for Hungarian financial professionals, held its annual meeting on September 13th at Vígvarjú Restaurant in Budapest. During the gathering, members of the Association approved the financial statement for 2022 and elected a new board, including a president, vice president, and five board members.
