The world is transfixed by the ructions of the global geopolitical order – the sudden collapse of the postwar rules-based order and its apparent replacement with a harsher world based on brute power and conflict. Much less attention is paid to the reasons for these changes. In this talk tailored to the financial community, journalist and editor David Pike will explain the economic and geopolitical drivers reshaping the global order and how they fit together, with specific focus on energy, his area of specialization.
