Speaker Bio
Lukasz Pomorski
Lukasz Pomorski is an author, professor, and investment professional. He teaches a master’s-level ESG investing course at Columbia University, where he is an Adjunct Professor and The Brandmeyer Fellow for Impact and Sustainable Investing. He is also a Senior Vice President at Acadian Asset Management and was previously Managing Director and Head of ESG Research at AQR Capital Management. Lukasz has contributed to sustainable investment research through numerous publications, conference presentations, and his work on industry working groups and committees.
Katsura Nakayama
Katsura Nakayama is the founder of PIFA Partners. She has over 20 years of experience in financial translation and corporate communications, specializing in investment, accounting, and corporate governance materials for global asset managers and listed companies. She began her career at Merrill Lynch Japan, where she gained deep insight into capital markets. Before founding PIFA Partners, she spent five years at Sony Bank, Inc. as a portfolio manager responsible for managing proprietary funds. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Waseda University. She is a CFA charterholder and has passed all sections of the U.S. CPA Exam.
Michinori Kanokogi
Michinori Kanokogi is Head of Data, AI & Quant Research at Nippon Life Asset Management. He leads the research and development of AI solutions to transform investment management processes. Previously, he led the launch of AQR Capital Management’s Japan business as Head of Investment Management. He also has experience at Russell Investments, UBS, PwC, and Deloitte. He has translated several books on finance and AI, including Advances in Financial Machine Learning, Expected Returns, and Beyond Diversification. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Tokyo, a Master of Engineering from Kyoto University, and an MBA from INSEAD. He is a CFA charterholder and has served as Vice President of CFA Society Japan since November 2025.
