About CFA Society Egypt
CFA Society Egypt, established in 2005 as a non-profit Egyptian organization, became a member of the CFA Institute in 2006, thereby aligning itself with the Institute's mission and values. Since then, it has contributed to the advancement of investment professionalism and ethical standards in Egypt by promoting the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence.
The society has organized and participated in various educational and professional development activities, including seminars, workshops, and conferences, aimed at enhancing the knowledge and skills of investment professionals in Egypt.
Additionally, CFA Society Egypt has been actively involved in the promotion of voluntary standards such as the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®) and the CFA Institute Code of Ethics, fostering a culture of integrity and professionalism in the Egyptian investment community.

In addition, the CFA Institute administers the CFA Institute Research Challenge, an annual global competition that provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student will be tested on their analytical, valuation, ESG understanding and assessment, report writing, and presentation skills. They gain real-world experience as they assume the role of a research analyst. More than 6,400 students, representing over 1,000 universities from nearly 100 countries, participate in the competition every year. Local level competitions are organized and judged by CFA Institute society members, with winning university teams advancing through sub-regional and regional competitions to the Global Final, where the global champion is determined.
