Shazia Khurshid is a director of the Financial Institutions Hedge Accounting Practice, which serves clients that range in size from $500 million to $100 billion. She advises clients on hedge accounting policy and application for both balance sheet risk management strategies as well as customer hedging needs. Prior to joining Chatham, Shazia worked as an analyst in the Debt & Derivatives Accounting group as well as the Operations & Risk Management group within Fannie Mae where she was involved in the implementation and designing of Sarbanes-Oxley risk control tools. Prior to Fannie Mae, she has worked at Deloitte and Touche and Morgan Stanley. She earned her BS in Accounting from Hunter College.
