Awareness Committee Lead: Aslı Özok Ay
Supports the Society’s visibility, communications, and brand awareness efforts across Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. The committee oversees social media
channels, member communications, website content, public relations activities, and engagement with financial media. It promotes the CFA designation,
CFA Institute programs, and the Society’s activities to both members and the broader investment community. The committee is also encouraged to identify media, communications, and sponsorship partners that can help expand the Society’s reach and impact.
Education & Scholarships Committee Lead: Emre Sezan, CFA
Supports the professional development of candidates and members through educational programs, review sessions, study groups, scholarships, and CFA Institute learning initiatives. The committee helps administer scholarship programs and promotes lifelong learning opportunities. It is also encouraged to develop relationships with training providers, educational institutions, and sponsors interested in supporting educational activities and scholarship initiatives.
Employer Outreach & Career Committee Lead: Nursel Kavlak Gül
Builds relationships with employers, recruiters, and industry leaders to strengthen the recognition of the CFA charter and support members' career development. The committee organizes employer visits, career-focused events, and networking opportunities while helping members access relevant career resources. It is also encouraged to cultivate strategic partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with employers and industry participants.
Governance, Advocacy, Disciplinary Committee Lead: Mutlu Sevim, CFA
Supports the Society’s governance framework, strategic priorities, ethical standards, and advocacy activities. The committee reviews policies and procedures, contributes to governance best practices, promotes CFA Institute’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, and supports advocacy efforts relevant to the investment profession. The committee also helps ensure that partnerships and sponsorship arrangements are aligned with the Society’s mission, values, and governance principles.
Membership & Volunteering Committee Lead: Ilke Takımoglu Homris, CFA
Co-Lead: Mutlu Sevim, CFA
Focuses on member recruitment, retention, engagement, and volunteer development. The committee reviews member feedback, monitors membership trends, promotes volunteer participation, and helps ensure that Society activities continue to meet the evolving needs of members. It also supports ongoing communication with members and identifies partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that enhance member value and engagement.
Program and Sponsorship Committee Lead: M. Sinan Veziroglu
Leads the planning and delivery of conferences, seminars, networking events, charter award ceremonies, and other Society programs. The committee works closely with other committees to develop high-quality member experiences while maintaining relationships with sponsors, partners, and supporting organizations. It serves as the primary coordinating body for sponsorship strategy and event funding.
Research Challenge Committee Lead: Ece Mandacı, CFA

Supports the planning and execution of the CFA Institute Research Challenge, including university engagement, mentor and judge recruitment, competition management, and participant development. The committee works closely with universities, investment professionals, and industry partners while also identifying sponsorship opportunities that can support the continued growth of the competition.
University Relation Committee Lead: Menevse Özdemir
Develops relationships with universities, faculty members, students, and academic institutions across the region. The committee promotes CFA Institute programs, the University Affiliation Program, and student engagement initiatives while supporting participation in the Research Challenge and other educational activities. It also seeks partnerships and sponsorship opportunities that strengthen academic engagement and student outreach.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) Committee Lead: Mutlu Sevim, CFA
Co-Lead: Nursel Kavlak Gül
Explores the impact of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies on investment management, financial services, and professional education. The committee supports the development of AI-related content, events, research initiatives, and practical applications that can benefit members and the Society. It is also encouraged to build relationships with technology firms, innovation leaders, and sponsors interested in advancing AI-related initiatives.
