CFA Society Minnesota is pleased to offer our members a wide variety of events each year. With monthly educational luncheons, networking socials, sporting events and annual gala events, CFA Minnesota is always working hard to provide valuable programming. To see information about both current and past events, please see links below. If you have questions or ideas about programming, feel free to contact us.

Registering for Events
CFA Society Minnesota utilizes the registration portal through the CFA Institute website for processing event registrations. 

To register for an event:

  1. Visit our event calendar
  2. Click on the event you'd like to attend
  3. Click the registration URL - the registration system only works with Internet Explorer

You will then be directed to the CFA Institute registration portal where you will need to: 

  1. Log in with your CFA Institute website ID and Password. Note: If you are a new user, please create a free CFA Institute account.
  2. Log in and follow the prompts to register and pay for your selected event. Note: If you are a member and do not remember your login information, please contact CFA Institute.

Local-only Members need to register for events using the member discount code provided when you renewed your membership in order to receive appropriate event rates. If you are a CFA Institute member, you will automatically receive the appropriate event rate when you register. In addition, the appropriate CE credits will be attributed to your account following your attendance. 

PLEASE NOTE: Always make sure your CFA Institute account and contact information are up to date whenever you sign up for events. 

Cancellation Policy
We recognize that scheduling conflicts can arise, so we accept cancellations with full refund up to the week prior to the event. To initiate this refund, please contact Mark Salter at ExecutiveDirector@cfamn.org by 5pm Friday of the week prior to the event for which you registered.

Continuing Education Credits
Through the CFA Institute event registration portal, CE credits are automatically applied to those members who are also CFA Institute members. Generally, breakfast and luncheon sessions provide 1 CE credit.  (Some of our annual events provide more CE credits.)

Bringing a Guest
At this time, members cannot include guests in their registration. Guests need to have their own free CFA Institute account. As host, you are welcome to create this account for your guest. Guest Enrollment only requires First Name, Last Name, and a valid Email Address. 

On-site registrations will be allowed as available and are payable with check, credit card or cash.
