When can June 2020 candidates take their exam?
June 2020 Level I candidates have the option of registering for one of the next two exam administrations: December 2020 or February 2021.
June 2020 Level II and Level III candidates have the option of registering for the December 2020 or June 2021 exam administrations.
Candidates will receive an invitation to re-register by mid-May.
June 2020 CFA Exams postponed
CFA exams in June 2020 are postponed. The exams were originally scheduled in 193 cities, in 95 countries, with 245.000 candidates registered. The earliest new date will be December 2020. More news will follow on 8 May.

All live events from CFA Society VBA Netherlands in the months of March, April and May are postponed due to the coronavirus. New dates will follow as soon as possible.
For the same reason, CFA Institute has decided to postpone the EMEA GIPS Standards Conference to 2021. The event was originally scheduled for 16-17 June 2020 in Amsterdam.
Graduation ceremony VU Risk Management
The VU Risk Management celebrates the graduation of nine students for the Risk Management for Financial Institutions! In addition, the register of RMFI professionals now crossed the number of 100 members.

HEC Liège wins CFA Institute Research Challenge
The CFA Institute Research Challenge Benelux was a great success! The students from HEC Liège won the finals for the second year in a row. They made it to the next round in Jordan. The runner up was Vlerick Business School and the third place was for ICHEC Brussels Management School. All reports and presentations were of outstanding quality and impressed the jury.

Award Ceremony CFA Charterholders Class of 2019
During the Award Ceremony of December 11, 2019, fifty new CFA Charterholders received their diploma. In The Netherlands we were able to congratulate a total of 155 graduates this year!
Accreditation by DSI for MiFID II Program
CFA Society VBA Netherlands has received accreditation from DSI as a 'Permanent Professional' trainer! By going through our MiFID II Stay Compliant education program, participants from the institutional domain can soon prove that their knowledge is up to date. Read press release.
They are obliged to do this under MiFID II, the European directive that has been in force since 2018. Anyone who professionally informs or advises clients about investing must since then meet the professional competence requirements set by ESMA. See program flyer.

GIPS make performance more transparent
CFA Institute has released 2020 edition of the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS). The standards, which will take effect January 1st, will make the performance of asset owners, like pension funds, more transparent. See press release.

Society wins Most Outstanding Award 2019
From 9 till 11 May the 2019 Global Society Leadership Conference was held in London. Next to sharing knowledge, it was a time to celebrate success. CFA Society VBA Netherlands won CFA Institute's annual award for Most Outstanding Society.
