CFA Society Okanagan Scholarships
CFA Society Okanagan strongly encourages professional development through the CFA Program
and continuing education. As part of this mandate, CFA Society Okanagan provides scholarships to CFA Institute candidates.
This is accomplished through 2 types of scholarships:
- CFA Institute Scholarships
- CFA Society Okanagan scholarship foundation for students at UBC Okanagan, Thompson Rivers University, and Okanagan College

CFA Institute Scholarships
CFA Institute offers several different types of Scholarships.
The Access Scholarship, waives the CFA Program enrolment fee and reduce the exam registration fee to $250, including the CFA Program eBook, for those unable to afford the full price of the CFA Program enrolment and registration fees.
Women's Scholarship is for women who are interested in earning the CFA charter, do not qualify for other CFA Institute scholarships, and have not yet registered for their next exam.
The Student Scholarship supports students currently attending an affiliated university and have not yet registered for their next exam.
CFA Society Okanagan Scholarship Foundation
CFA Society Okanagan has been fundraising for a number of years to build-up a CFA Society Okanagan scholarship foundation. In 2011, CFA Society Okanagan began to provide scholarships to students at UBC Okanagan, Thompson Rivers University, and Okanagan College.
CFA Society Okanagan is currently working with the universities to setup the ongoing scholarships. This webpage will be updated with information on this initiative.
