 Access Scholarships

CFA Program Access Scholarships provide financial support to those who may be unable to afford the full price for program enrollment and exam registration.

Award​: The scholarship covers the one-time CFA Program enrollment fee (if applicable) and reduces the exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$250. ​

Award CycleAccess Scholarships are awarded on or before 1 December, to be applied to exams in the following year. Access Scholarship recipients may apply the award to the June exam (Levels I, II, and III) or December exam (Level I only).​


If you would like to apply for a scholarship, please complete an application on the CFA Institute website, then email the education chair with your name, candidate number, level and email address, as well as your resume and answers to the following questions. You are also required to certify that your employer will not reimburse you for exam fees.

  • Why are you undertaking the CFA examination process and how will it be applied to your career? Limit your answer to 100 words.
  • Pick a publicly traded company and provide an analysis of its prospects. Limit your answer to 500 words.

 Awareness Scholarships

Awareness scholarships are merit or role-based opportunities that offer a reduced fee for CFA Institute educational programs. Recipents are awarded a waived CFA Program enrollment fee and reduced exam registration fee (includes access to the curriculum eBook) to US$350.*

NEW​! Women's Scholarship
Eligibility: Women who do not qualify for other CFA Institute scholarships, who are interested in earning the CFA charter, and who are eligible to enroll in the CFA Program.​

Academic - Facult/Administrator/Student Scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time college/university professors or administrators/department heads who teach a minimum number of credit hours at qualified institutions OR Full-time students attending a school in our University Recognition Program or one of our CFA Program Partner schools.

Regulator Scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time, qualified employees of entities that supervise or regulate the operations, standards of practice or business conduct of the investment management industry and who wish to enroll in the CFA Program, CIPM Program, or Claritas Program.

Media Scholarships
Eligibility: Full-time employees of media organizations that communicate and distribute financial news, data, and education.

 Study Groups

The CFA Society of Orlando does not organize any study groups, but only facilitates for candidates to get in contact with other candidates who are interested in study groups.

If you are interested in finding other candidate in this this area, please send an email to our educa​​tional chair, with your name, candidate number, level and email address.  After verifying your registration with the CFA Institute, he/she will email you the names and email addresses of all candidates that have showed interest in being a part of a study group. ​
