Private Debt Panel Discussion
Private debt investments have been one of the fastest growing asset allocation themes in the post-financial crisis period. Institutional investors have been drawn by the prospects of higher yields and improved risk and return characteristics. This in an era when monetary easing has put downward pressure on traditional fixed income returns and stretched valuations on public markets. Investing in private debt also comes with its own challenges, in terms of higher implementation risk, illiquidity, lack of transparency, monitoring and performance measurement. Please join us as we discuss the potential benefits and challenges of investing in private debt, as well as practical considerations for investors.
