Title

Sustainable Investing Thought Leadership Group Monthly Meeting

Event Description

Wednesday, May 27
5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The CFAP Sustainable Investing Thought Leadership Group provides a forum to advance the dialogue regarding the role of sustainable investing in today's capital markets and beyond. In particular, the group directs its attention to furthering an understanding and clarifying the risks and opportunities linked to environmental, social and governance issues.

The group seeks ways to quantify these considerations over the short and long-term in a way that permits such factors to be integrated into investment strategies and decision making across a variety of asset classes.  This includes both liquid and illiquid segments of the market.

This month, our presenter is Jeffrey Gitterman. Jeff, a co-founding partner of Gitterman Wealth Management, LLC, will discuss how he converted his $170 million traditional investment practice into a 100% sustainable investment practice by talking to one higher education client at a time.

Jeff is the creator of his firm's SMART (Sustainable Metrics Applied to Risk Tolerance) Investing Services and is a featured speaker at Sustainable, Impact, and ESG Investing conferences throughout the country.

If you have any questions regarding the Sustainable Investing Thought Leadership Group, please contact CFAP member Michael Cosack at cosackm@impactwise.us.
