Matthew Hanson
Principal, SVP, Head of Private Alternatives Capital Formation North America
Mr. Hanson is a principal and senior vice president, leading capital formation in North America for Private Alternatives at AllianceBernstein, including private credit, asset-based finance, opportunistic credit, and commercial real estate debt. He was previously responsible for global fundraising and investor relations for AB CarVal. Based in Minneapolis, he has over 25 years of experience in alternative investments across private credit, commercial real estate, real assets and infrastructure strategies. Prior to joining AB CarVal in 2003, Mr. Hanson was an associate with the Carlyle Group in Washington, D.C. and was a manager at Deloitte & Touche, working in the audit and attestation group. Mr. Hanson served in the South Dakota Army National Guard. Mr. Hanson has a B.S.B.A. with honors in accounting from the University of South Dakota. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
