Annual Conference: CFA Society Shanghai hosts an annual conference for members where they can develop their connections within the local community, share experiences and lessons learned, and set goals for the upcoming year. Panel discussions and keynote speeches featuring leading industry experts keep members' skills and expertise up to date, and outstanding volunteers, institutional partners, and ambassadors are recognized with awards.
  2. Charter Award: To inspire charterholders who have passed the rigorous CFA® Program exams to continue contributing to China's financial market development, CFA Society Shanghai organizes year-end recognition ceremonies, where senior members and leading industry experts are invited to present awards to charterholders.
  3. Research Challenge: CFA Society Shanghai runs local-level competitions in Shanghai for the CFA Institute Research Challenge. The annual global competition provides university students with hands-on mentoring and intensive training in financial analysis and professional ethics. Each student is tested on their analytical, valuation, report-writing, and presentation skills, and gains real-world experience of life as a research analyst. The winners are invited to take part in the international finals.
