CFA Society South Florida is bringing you a panel of experts to discuss career development strategies. Our panel contains recognized experts in the area of human resource development.

Panel Discussion & Q&A: 6:30PM – 8:00PM
Complimentary sandwiches and beverages will be served in the Sean Stein Pavilion starting at 5:30 PM. No food will be allowed inside classroom BU120. Panel discussion will start at 6:30 PM.
Parking: Parking will be available in parking lots adjacent to the College of Business (Campus Map). Due to Spring break, it is acceptable to park in spaces that normally require tags. CFA South Florida will pay for parking for all registered attendees.
Lisa BradleyAVP, Talent Market ScoutPNC Financial Services
Lisa Bradley is a talent scout for PNC Financial Services. With a foundation of 20 years in the United States Marine Corps, Lisa has transitioned from a role of military leadership to that of identifying future leaders for PNC Bank, the nation’s fifth largest financial services institution. She is a 2002 undergraduate from Park University.
Lisa has nearly 10 years of Recruiting experience to include both Executive Recruiting and also Corporate Recruiting for two publically traded institutions. She started at PNC Bank as the Corporate and Institutional Banking Recruiter for Florida. Today she is one of only two Talent Scouts in the entire bank. This puts her one step in front of the Recruiters, identifying key passive talent and introducing PNC to them in order to establish and maintain a top-quality pipeline of professionals for future needs of the Bank. She oversees this pipeline for the entire state of Florida and has a direct line of communication with multiple internal business partners, allowing her to be more effective at introducing potential candidates to the hiring managers.
Lisa was nominated in 2010 and 2011 for the prestigious Chairman’s Award which recognizes the top performers in the bank.
Kurt Adler is Corporate Human Resources Manager for the Personal Financial Services Business Unit Northeast and Southeast Regions and a Senior Vice President of Northern Trust Corporation. He is responsible for all Human Resource activities on the east coast of the United States, including the States of Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, and Delaware, as well as their Washington DC location.
Prior to his employment with Northern Trust in 1997, Kurt worked for 11 years as Corporate Director of Human Resources and Administration for QST Enterprises and all its operating subsidiaries, and also served as President of ESSI, a 90-employee subsidiary of QST. Prior to his employment with QST, Kurt served honorably in the United States Air Force where he was an expert marksman and a recipient of the Air Force Commendation and Good Conduct medals.
Kurt graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S. degree in Business Administration and has received his Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) accreditation from the Society for Human Resource Management.
Kurt serves both as a South Florida Senior Banking Human Resources Roundtable and Florida State University Center for Human Resource Management executive member; and previously served as Chairman and Executive Board Member of the South Florida Center for Financial Training (CFT): as well as Executive Board Member, Corporate Secretary, and Personnel Committee Chair for Miami Lighthouse for the Blind.
As a thought leader known for anticipating and guiding organizations through the challenges of rapid change, Tom has been called upon as an expert panelist by major news organizations and has appeared on CNN, ABC, CBS and NBC.
Tom is a Branch Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta – Miami Branch and Chairman of the Board of the Florida State University Center for Human Resource Management.
A Paul Harris Fellow, Tom is a recipient of the United Way’s Corporate Citizen Award. He has been named “Father of the Year” by the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Leading Man and was awarded the Silver Medallion by the National Council for Community & Justice. In addition Tom has received the Diamond CEO Award from the Business Journal and the Sun-Sentinel presented him the Excalibur Award as Business Leader of the Year.
Mr. Sadaka has a reputation in the industry for delivering top quality service to his clients. He is the designer of the Talent Acquisition SolutionT, a unique process that accurately matches the true requirements of a client with the marketplace and ensures an efficient timetable in attracting the right talent.
Steve heads up the Wealth Management practice that serves clients in Investment Management, Private Banking, Multi-Family Offices, Family Offices and Foundations and Endowments. A graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Accounting, Steve began his career in the audit practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Miami. He is a non-practicing CPA.
Mr. Sadaka is involved with numerous charities in South Florida. He was on the board of Kids In Distress for 7 years. He led the initiative and raised $100,000 the past year for the Jason Taylor Foundation Reading Room. He and his wife have endowed a lifetime scholarship for the University of Florida, is a contributor to Broward Partnership for the Homeless and a major donor to his religious organization.
Prior to joining FPL, Kelly held progressive Human Resources positions in a variety of industries such as Staffing, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Healthcare, and Human Resources Outsourcing. Most recently, Kelly works at Florida Power & Light Company as a Human Resources Consultant, providing full human resources services to the Engineering Construction & Corporate Services group across the US. This includes providing advice regarding any one or several of the following: employment & labor law, compensation, benefits, training, recruiting, diversity, talent management, employee information systems and organization structure. In her position, Kelly focuses on providing specialized analysis, consultation and implementation of HR solutions, policies and practices to address business needs and increase efficiencies. She is also as trusted advisor providing advice and counsel to management.
Kelly is a Human Resources Professional with a strong background in managing multi-site and national human resources objectives across diverse work groups and cultures. She has excellent project management, implementation and presentation skills. She also has outstanding interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
