CFA Society South Florida is bringing you a panel of experts to discuss career development strategies. Our panel contains recognized experts in the area of career coaching and human resource development.
Location: Florida Atlantic University, Sean Stein Pavilion, Building/Room # BU-120. Boca Raton, FL
Check-in & Sandwiches: 5:30PM.

Parking: Use parking lots adjacent to the College of Business, Lot 7 and Lot 9. The CFA Society of South Florida, Inc. will pay for parking for all registered attendees.
Directions: Exit I-95 at Glades (Exit 45) / (Exit 75) from the Turnpike. Head EAST on Glades to10th/Broward Ave (the first and main entrance to FAU). Turn left into Campus on to Broward Ave/West University Drive. Continue through two traffic lights. The road will then curve right and become North University Drive. Make the first RIGHT, after the road curves, into the parking lots adjacent to the College of Business (Lot 7 & Lot 9).

Sharon Kirby-Lue is senior human resources business partner with NextEra Energy, Inc. She currently works to drive the strategic human resources initiatives within our multiple financial business units including finance, accounting, tax, treasury, internal audit, corporate development and in-house legal departments within the company. She began her career with Nextera in 1997 in the recruiting function and has progressed through human resources into employee relations and strategy. During this tenure she has served as the HR partner for many different units and subsidiaries including, information technology, regulatory affairs, supply chain, FPL FiberNet, Nextera Transmission to name a few, this giving her a broad perspective of the company overall. Sharon has developed and implemented programs focused on employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, change management, and most critical, talent management and employee development.

CFA Society South Florida, Inc. is pleased to offer (6) – 25 minute career coaching sessions on a complimentary basis to our local society members and CFA Candidates with Robert Hellmann, Hellman Career Consulting, New York, NY from 2:00pm to 5:00pm, subject to availability and confirmed registration on a first come, first serve basis.
The time slots are 2:00pm, 2:30pm, 3:00pm, 3:30pm, 4:00pm and 4:30pm. This exceptional offering is being made to kick-off our annual Career Development Panel from 6:30pm to 8:30pm the same day. See Events webpage for more information.

Space is limited to (6) – 25 minute sessions. Local society members may register for (1) - 25 minute career coaching session only, subject to availability. Registration for a career coaching session/time will be confirmed via email.
Format: Private, one-on-one career coaching to discuss career goals, resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn.com, social media, etc.

Check-in: Please arrive prepared and 10 minutes prior to your assigned career coaching session/time.
