DANIEL BLUMHARDT, CFA, CAIA
Managing Director and Strategist, Emerging Markets
Daniel Blumhardt, CFA, CAIA is a Managing Director and Strategist for Emerging Markets, within BlackRock's Systematic Active Equity (SAE) Team. He is based out of San Francisco.
Mr. Blumhardt joined BlackRock in 2008. He previously worked with Barclays Global Investors (BGI), which merged with BlackRock in 2009. At BGI, he was a global investment strategist for active equity products. Prior to joining BGI, Mr. Blumhardt was a global portfolio manager with UBS Global Asset Management, where he and his team were responsible for the management and development of the firm's global equity strategies. Other prior experience includes work in global equity valuation strategy and individual securities research at Credit Suisse First Boston.
Mr. Blumhardt earned a BA in Finance from Michigan State University in 1994.
