Charterholder Membership

The most distinguished professionals in the industry. Demonstrates a mastery of investment management skills and a commitment to continued excellence and ethics. Access to all member benefits.

  • Member of CFA Institute and CFA Society West Michigan 
  • 4000 hours of relevant work experience over 36+ months
  • Passed all three levels of the CFA Program
  • Professional references

Regular Membership:

​​We recommend regular membership for candidates in the CFA program. The application process has three phases and typical takes several weeks to be approved. Regular membership requires:
  • ​A bachelor's degree or equivalent education/work experience​.
  • Pass Level 1 of the CFA exam, Level II CIPM® or pass the self-administered Standards of Practice Exam 
  • 3 professional references
  • Local CFA Society membership (optional but strongly encouraged)

Affiliate Membership:

We recommend affiliate membership for investment professionals who do not intend to participate in the CFA Program or have not yet met the requirements for regular membership. Affiliate membership requires:

Dues​

CFA Institute annual Membership dues are $299 for Charterholder, Regular, and Affiliate. 
Society annual membership dues are $125 for Charterholder, Regular and Affiliate members.
