Cost of capital estimation is critical when assessing the long-run expected return on investments. Whether valuing individual securities, discerning between capital projects or an acquisition target cost of capital analysis is one of the most crucial jobs that corporate finance professionals perform. Limitations among established cost of capital methodologies have been magnified in the wake of the economic turbulence of the last financial crisis while new opportunities have emerged.
Join renowned valuation expert Roger Grabowski for an in-depth examination of the state of cost of capital determination. In this intensive presentation, Grabowski will discuss what every finance professional should know when determining a cost of capital in today's economy, using all available tools and data, and factoring for current controversies, including:
- Current evidence on market and size risk premiums
- Current evidence on industry risk premiums
- Current evidence on international risk premiums
