On behalf of CFA Society Bulgaria, we are pleased to invite you to the Local Final and Award Ceremony of the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025–2026 , to be held in Sofia on 24 February 2026.
The CFA Institute Research Challenge is a prestigious global competition that offers university students a unique opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world equity research. Throughout the competition, teams work closely with faculty advisors and industry mentors to produce a professional equity research report and defend their investment thesis before a panel of investment professionals.
This year, participating teams have conducted in-depth equity research on Speedy AD, the selected subject company. The Local Final will bring together the top-performing student teams representing leading Bulgarian universities, who will present their research findings and investment recommendations.

What to expect:
Final presentations by student teams (10-minute presentation followed by 10-minute Q&A per team)
Evaluation by a distinguished panel of investment professionals (judges to be announced)
Award ceremony recognizing the achievements of all participants and announcing the winning team, which will advance to the Sub-Regional round
