Denver FOMC Happy Hour Program: Lazard Asset Management: Global Thematic Investing – the World in the 2030’s
The conversation starts with a question relevant to every investor we meet: with over $120 trillion in wealth transferring to the next generation, and 40% of Millennials and Gen Z already investing thematically, is your portfolio ready? Tracing its history back to origins of thematic investing in the 1980s, the Lazard Global Thematic Equity team has seen many cycles and market trends, making it uniquely placed for the various challenges of today. Today the team manages over $2bn across a global client base and runs several global thematic strategies, all of which use a consistent philosophy and process. We manage a global strategy, and ideology built around 6 current proprietary themes: Smart Capex, Bits of Chips, Empowered Consumer, Data & Agents, Future Health, and Multipolar Finance. A differentiated tool for client retention and growth.
