Regular membership in CFA Institute is required for award of the CFA charter, so regular membership is recommended for candidates in the CFA Program. To qualify for regular membership, you will need to have 48 months of acceptable professional work experience in investment decision making. You must also pass Level I of the CFA exam or pass the self-administered Standards of Practice Examination as part of the activation process.
Affiliate membership is recommended for investment professionals who do not intend to participate in the CFA Program or who have not yet met the requirements for regular membership. Active membership in both CFA Institute and a local society is required.
Adjunct membership is recommended for local investment, capital market and finance professionals interested in joining our society. This category is intended for those professionals who are only interested in local Society membership, have no intention of pursuing the CFA charter or are not yet prepared to join the CFA Institute.
Student membership is offered to local students attending university and up to one year post graduation.
