Purpose of the Scholarship
CFA Society of Dallas/Fort Worth, in partnership with Kaplan Schweser, is pleased to offer the Kaplan CFA Scholarship to support motivated candidates and young professionals preparing for the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) exam.
This scholarship is intended to reduce financial barriers and support candidates who demonstrate commitment to the CFA Program, professional integrity, and long-term interest in the investment management profession.
Applicant Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be a student or young professional with an interest in the CFA Program
- Plan to sit for a future CFA exam (Level I, II, or III)
- Be located in or have a demonstrated connection to the Dallas/Fort Worth area
- Not currently receive employer-paid Kaplan CFA prep materials
Preference may be given to:
- First-time CFA candidates
- Candidates with demonstrated financial need
- Individuals engaged with CFADFW or the local finance community
Scholarship Award
Selected recipients will receive:
- Kaplan Schweser CFA study materials for the applicable exam level
- Recognition by CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth (optional, with recipient consent)
Application Deadline & Selection
- Application Deadline: February 28, 2026
- Recipients of the scholarships will be notified no later than March 31, 2026
- Scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and reviewed by representatives of CFA Society Dallas/Fort Worth.
