CFA Society Jordan received the award for the Highest Candidate Growth Rate in the EMEA Region! CFA Society Jordan President, Jameel Nabeel Anz and board members Qutaiba Hawamdeh and Khalid Shakhshir received the award recently at the EMEA CFA Society Leadership Conference in Istanbul.

CFA Speaker Tour: Currency Anomalies

Under the patronage of the Central Bank of Jordan and as part of CFA’s Speaker tour program, yesterday we hosted Söhnke M. Bartram, a Professor of Finance at the University of Warwick for a presentation on Currency Anomalies.

Söhnke M. Bartram is a Charter Member of Risk Who's Who and a member of an international think tank for policy advice to the German government.

We want to thank everyone who attended and the featured speaker for the evening for providing a truly insightful and educational presentation.

The 3rd CFA MENA Research Challenge

CFA Society Jordan was honored to host for the first time, the 3rd CFA MENA Research Challenge, where the Runner up teams of the CFA Research Challenge in each country in the MENA Region competed. The event was held in Amman at the Fairmount Hotel.

CFA Society Jordan is pleased to announce its new board members for a 2-year term, Mr. Mohammed Razem, CFA (Far Left) and Mr. Khalid Shakhshir, CFA (Far Right). Mohammed and Khalid join Mr. Jameel Nabeel Anz, CFA (Board President), Mr. Qutaiba Hawamdeh CFA, CIPM (Board Vice President), and Mrs. Jenny Atout Ahlzen, CFA (Board Member).

CFA Society Jordans' Catch up dinner

The end of the year has us in a festive mood!

Last night we held a dinner for CFA Society Jordan members at Yoshi to catch up, connect and discuss the year ahead.

We are proud to host the 17th EMEA Region Society Leaders Conference!

CFA Society Jordan's Jenny Atout Ahlzen, CFA with the management team of the CFA Institute in the Hot Seat: Paul Smith, President of the CFA Institute, Gary Baker, Managing Director of CFA Institute EMEA and Bjorn Forfang, Managing Director of Relationship Management. Another productive day at the EMEA Regional Society Leaders Conference!

The event was a major success, bringing together society leaders from all over the world and we look forward to hosting everybody again in the future.
