Michael Fontaine is a director of Artisan Partners with responsibility for distribution and servicing of the strategies managed by the firm’s Credit team. He is also responsible for creation of the team’s investment content and communications. Prior to joining Artisan Partners, Mr. Fontaine was a principal with Third Street Partners. Before that, he was a director and co-portfolio manager with Willis Towers Watson. Earlier in his career, Mr. Fontaine was an analyst with Wells, Canning & Associates. Mr. Fontaine holds a bachelor’s degree in finance with a minor in economics from Iona College.
    

Jack Powers, CFA, is a portfolio specialist with responsibility for communication with investors and creation of investment content as well as distribution and servicing of the strategies managed by the firm’s EMsights Capital Group. Prior to joining Artisan Partners in October 2025, he served as vice president and portfolio specialist on the municipal bond product and portfolio strategy team at Eaton Vance. Before that, Mr. Powers held roles as an internal consultant for the banks and independents channel and as a mutual fund services representative at Eaton Vance. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in economics and history from Boston College.
