MAX GELB, CFA

Senior Vice President and Product Strategist | PIMCO

Max Gelb is a senior vice president and product strategist in the Newport Beach office. He focuses on multi-asset strategies and customized client portfolio solutions.

Prior to joining PIMCO in 2019, Mr. Gelb worked in portfolio management for PAAMCO, specializing in hedge fund manager due diligence and portfolio construction. Previously, he was an investment consultant for Cambridge Associates, where he advised pension funds and university endowments on asset allocation and investment manager selection.

He has 10 years of investment experience and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He received an undergraduate degree in economics from Dartmouth College
