CFA Society Serbia has announced an exciting opportunity for aspiring finance professionals with the launch of its scholarship program for the CFA exam. The society is offering up to three scholarships to deserving candidates, covering exam fees including the one-time enrollment fee.
The application window for these scholarships is open from April 22nd to May 10th, 2024, giving eligible candidates a chance to apply and further their financial expertise. Applicants must either have graduated or be in the final year of an undergraduate program, and they must be either Serbian citizens or permanent residents in Serbia.
Candidates interested in applying for the scholarships are required to submit a curriculum vitae (CV), a motivational letter explaining their desire to take the exam and apply for the scholarship, a letter of recommendation from a professional in academic or business circles, and proof of Serbian citizenship or residence.
Upon selection, successful candidates will sign a contract with CFA Society Serbia. They will need to provide proof of payment to the CFA Institute for the exam, after which CFA Society Serbia will reimburse the scholarship awardees for the exam costs.
It is important to note that scholarship recipients must take the exam within one year of receiving the scholarship. Failure to do so will require them to return the funds to CFA Society Serbia.
