Buy the book on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, or your favorite bookstore and read it before the meeting. At the meeting, we will eat dinner, have drinks, and enjoy a lively discussion about the book. Topic:   Private Credit is Not a Commodity Synopsis:   Private Credit is the fastest growing asset class Secular tailwinds behind the growth of Private Credit Not everything is "Golden" How the lower middle market differentiates The importance of manager selection and experience Speaker: Mick Solimene Managing Director & Portfolio Manager Monroe Capital Mr. Solimene is a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager for Monroe’s high net worth portfolios including serving as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Investment Officer of Monroe Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: MRCC) and Monroe Capital Income Plus Corporation business development companies. He has over 40 years of experience in alternative investing, corporate finance, restructuring and special situations.   Prior to Monroe, Mr. Solimene was a Managing Director and member of the senior leadership team at Allstate Investments where he was responsible for the opportunistic portfolio strategy which focused on deploying flexible and nimble private capital in complex or non-traditional situations. Prior to Allstate, he has held senior alternative investment management and investment banking positions at Macquarie Capital (USA), Inc., Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, LLC and Banc of America Securities, LLC.   Mr. Solimene earned his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and his B.S. in Finance from Western Illinois University. In addition to being a member of the Turnaround Management Association, Mr. Solimene serves as a director of numerous private companies and non-profit organizations. Otherwise, if you use the google address, it will take you to the historical part of the building on San Antonio Street.  Guest can park in either lot (they own both). Signs will be posted to the public that the lot is closed for our private event.  You do not have to pay to park regardless of the posted signage.  Guests will enter under the canopy, into the elevator foyer area.  Once in the elevator they will press the button for the first floor (there is signage right by that button to let them know where to go). David oversees all aspects of Northleaf’s private credit investment activities, including the origination, evaluation and monitoring of private credit investments globally. In addition, he is involved in Northleaf’s investor relations and business development activities. Prior to joining Northleaf, David was at Bain Capital Credit, a leading global credit specialist, as a Managing Director, Global Head of Sourcing and a member of Bain Capital's Opportunistic Credit and Private Credit team. Previously, David served as the Co-Head of Bain Capital Credit's London office from 2009 to 2013. David began his career with Credit Suisse First Boston in Investment Banking before joining Bain Capital Credit in 2003.
