May 15, 06:30 PM - 09:30 PM (BE)
During the past five- and ten-years emerging markets have significantly underperformed developed equities, with emerging bonds remaining a little-known asset class. Enterprising investors are now faced with a number of key questions:
• Will current geopolitical shifts be a catalyst for a rerating of emerging stocks?
• How about the impact of tariffs and reshoring?
• Will markets benefit from growing demand for commodities for the energy transition?
• With Chinese stocks 25% of the index, what is the outlook for this important, tech-heavy component?
• What diversification and return-enhancement opportunities do local and hard currency emerging debt offer today?
At this event, we will be joined by Jan de Bruijn from Robeco on Emerging Market Equities, as well as our fellow Charterholder Hicham Sabra, CFA on Emerging Market Fixed Income.
