Nana Wiafe Boamah, CFA
(President)

Nana Wiafe is the Chief Investment Officer at Axis Pension Trust, where he works on Strategic Asset Allocation for the Trust’s assets and works with external managers to implement investment policies.
Prior to Axis, Nana spent 3 years as the head of Corporate Finance at Algebra Securities Limited, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in sell-side capital raising. Nana was also a Senior Market Risk Analyst at Standard Chartered Bank with key responsibilities of interest rate and liquidity risk management across the Bank’s banking book.

Marwan Ansah, CFA
(Vice President)

Marwan is a Manager, Data Analytics at the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG). He was the Finance Officer of  ECG, where he assisted in the treasury management process and assisted in the administration and management of its occupational and personal pension funds.
He has over 18 years of experience in the power distribution business and over 14 years of experience as an instructor for the CFA and FRM programs.

Emmanuel Ogyem Boakye, CFA, FMVA
(Secretary)

Emmanuel has over 8 years of experience in the corporate and Investment Banking Space in Ghana. He currently heads the Syndications & Capital Markets Department of Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) Limited and is responsible for building the department from inception. Emmanuel handles all structured finance products for the Consolidated Bank of Ghana.

Elikem Kwasi Agbosu
(Treasurer)

Elikem is a Fund Manager with Databank Asset Management Services Ltd. He has experience analysing investments and managing investment portfolios for high-net-worth individuals. He has previously worked in the Finance Department of Databank. Elikem is also a Partner of Money Convos, a club dedicated to helping people achieve financial independence through financial literacy. Elikem holds a bachelor’s degree in Administration (Banking and Finance) from the University of Ghana. He has passed the Ghana Stock Exchange's Securities Industry Certificate and Levels 1 and 2 of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) programme.

Jojo Kakra Bannerman, CFA
(Advocacy Committee Chair)

Jojo Kakra Bannerman is currently works with Standard Chartered Bank as the ED & Head of BBD Sales for West Africa, based in Ghana. Prior to taken the expanded role Jojo was ED & Head Financial Markets Sales Ghana. Jojo joined SCB as an International Graduate in September 2008 within Financial Markets team in Ghana. On completion of the graduate programme he joined the Financial Markets Structuring team in SCB DIFC in June 2010 covering derivative trading across Africa. In July 2013 Jojo returned to Ghana to head the FM Sales team. In his expanded role Jojo now covers BBD Sales across SCB's footprint and Non-Presence Countries in West Africa.
Jojo has a Bachelor of Science (Electrical/Electronic Engineering) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business and Finance from London School of Business and Finance in UK, and a CFA Charter from Chartered Financial Analyst Institute.

Sandra Villars, CFA
(Membership Committee Chair)

Sandra is a Partner at Oliver Wyman. She has worked with global top-tier financial services institutions for over 20 years. She has worked with clients in South Africa & West Africa, the Middle East, Europe, and the US. Her main areas of focus are finance, treasury, risk, strategy, transformation and regulation. She currently coordinates Oliver Wyman’s Financial Services sustainability platform in the region. Sandra brings a uniquely valuable perspective from almost 10 years of hands-on senior management experience at multinational banking groups. For example, as Head of Treasury and Capital Management for Standard Bank’s Africa Regions. 

Sandra holds a Master’s in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s (with honours) in Operations Research & Financial Engineering from Princeton University. She has been a CFA charterholder since 2004.
