22nd February 2024 Charter Award Ceremony
We held an award ceremony for members who passed Level III of the CFA exam in August 2023. The ceremony was warmly hosted by Ms. Fangyuan Liu, CFA, who also passed the exam during this sitting, the event marked a special occasion for attendees to celebrate their exam success and to network with their peers. We enjoyed listening to the customary congratulatory video message by CEO of the CFA Institute Ms. Marg Franklin, CFA followed by CFA Society Japan’s President, Mr. Masato Degawa, CFA who delivered a very inspiring speech that shared his story in attaining the charter and a strong call to action for new charterholders urging them to leverage the CFA charter in further progressing with their careers. For this event we asked Mr. Hiroshi Nagashima, CFA who also passed the Level III exam in August to share his experience. Having gone through the exams during the pandemic his topic, this story was very relatable for his peers.
For the Award Ceremony portion, the names of all 36 attendees who passed the Level III exam were called one by one to walk to the stage, and to receive their certificates from President Degawa. We then took a group picture, and all attended enjoyed the latter networking portion.

2024年2月22日 CFA資格授与式を開催
2023年8月実施のCFA試験レベルIIIに合格した方々の表彰式を開催しました。授賞式は、同じく合格した劉方遠氏の司会で行われ、出席者は合格を祝うとともに、同級生との交流を深めました。恒例となったCFA協会CEOのマーグ・フランクリン氏による祝賀ビデオメッセージに続き、日本CFA協会の出川昌人会長が、自身のCFA資格取得のエピソードを紹介した印象的なスピーチを行い、新しいCFA資格保持者に対し、CFA資格を活用してキャリアをさらに前進させるよう強く呼びかける祝辞を述べました。今回のイベントでは、8月のレベルIIIのCFA試験に合格した長島宏氏にも体験談を語っていただきました。新型コロナ禍のパンデミックのさなかに受験を経験した長島氏の体験談は、同級生にとって非常に共感できるものとなりました。
表彰式では、今回合格した36名の出席者が一人ずつステージに上がり出川会長から合格証書を授与されました。その後、集合写真を撮り、後半のネットワーキングでは参加者全員が交流を楽しみました。
