CFA Society Norway is pleased to announce the appointment of five new members to the board of directors at its annual general meeting on 14 September.
Marco Proto, Kristine Kjos, Terje Polden, Camilla Salomonsen, and Adrien Changarnier will be succeeding Isabelle Juillard Thompson, Rune Gjessing, Fabrizio Ricci, and Yanling Zheng. The outgoing members have completed their maximum terms as board members.
Viktor Lillehagen, an existing board member, has been re-elected for an additional two-year term.
Erlend Fredriksen, who was re-elected as President of CFA Society Norway, remarked, "We are excited to welcome the new board members. Their combined expertise and dedication to the profession will undoubtedly benefit our organization in the upcoming years." Fredriksen also emphasized the efforts of the departing board members. "On behalf of CFA Society Norway, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to Isabelle, Rune, Fabrizio, and Yanling for their invaluable contributions to the Society. Their dedication has been instrumental in increasing the significance and recognition of the CFA designation in Norway. We are confident that the new board will continue this legacy."

During the AGM, the board provided updates on the society's events, financial status, membership growth, and future prospects. A new investment policy for the society was also accepted by the AGM. The policy’s purpose is the preservation of the value of the society’s cash reserves.
Profiles of the New Board Members:
- Marco Proto, CFA: Risk Manager and Risk Controller at Cubera Private Equity. Formerly held various roles in financial management at Coca-Cola Company. CFA Charterholder since 2021.
- Camilla Salomonsen, CFA: Portfolio Manager at Fellesordningen for AFP. Previously part of the trainee program at NBIM. CFA Charterholder since 2019.
- Terje Polden, CFA: Head of Investment Bank & Family Office at Handelsbanken. CFA Charterholder since 2022.
- Kristine Kjos, CFA: Senior Portfolio Manager for Fixed Income Emerging Markets at NBIM. CFA Charterholder since 2015.
- Adrien Changarnier, CFA: Engaged in Nordic Corporate Banking at JPMorgan Chase & Co. CFA Charterholder since 2015.
