The 2026 Private Wealth & Alternatives Conference, co-hosted by CFA Society Philadelphia and CAIA Pennsylvania Chapter, will bring together leading investors, wealth managers, allocators, and alternative investment specialists to explore the rapidly evolving role of alternative investments in private wealth portfolios. As wealth management platforms increasingly incorporate innovative strategies into client portfolios, the conference will provide practitioners with a practical framework for understanding how private investments fit alongside traditional asset classes and other alternative investments.   Centered on the theme “Optimizing Alts, Innovative Tax Strategies and Demystifying Private Credit,” the program will feature expert panels and practitioner-led sessions addressing portfolio construction, manager selection, and the structural considerations unique to private credit investing. Central PA Luncheon: AI-Driven Convergence of Digital Infrastructure and Real Assets

    Apr 22, 12:00 PM - 01:30 PM (ET)
This presentation will explore the structural transformation occurring in global data center infrastructure as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and digital connectivity accelerate demand for computing capacity. The session will begin with an overview of AI’s rapid growth and its relationship to data centers, including the role of hyperscalers and why large cloud providers remain heavily dependent on specialized data center infrastructure. It will then examine key industry questions such as whether the market could approach “peak” data center development, the rising demand for power, and how AI workloads are reshaping infrastructure requirements. The discussion will also address emerging trends including edge computing, the importance of latency in distributed networks, and the evolution of data center operating models. The presentation will conclude with a review of key investment themes and how a multi-strategy approach can provide diversified exposure to opportunities across the data center ecosystem.  Our presenter:     Xiao Tsai is a Director of GI Partners. Sponsored Webinar: State Street ETF Spotlight: Prepare, Don’t Predict

    May 14, 02:00 PM - 03:00 PM (ET)
Recent geopolitical developments (e.g., Iran, South America) and questions of Federal Reserve independence underscore a broader pattern of ongoing global tensions, contributing to a market environment of heightened complexity and uncertainty. The realities of geopolitical competition and persistent friction points have the potential to trigger risk-off moves in financial markets, exposing traditional portfolios to downside risks. In this context, investors may benefit from a multi-asset strategy that enhances portfolio resilience by expanding beyond a conventional mix of equities and nominal bonds.      Our presenter is Christopher Ward, Portfolio Manager for the SPDR® Bridgewater All Weather ETF (ALLW). Chris joined Bridgewater in 2009 and is currently a Portfolio Manager for the SPDR Bridgewater All Weather ETF. More broadly, Chris is a senior investor on Bridgewater’s Balanced Assets team where he is focused on the design, evolution, and oversight of Bridgewater’s All Weather Strategy (and other related multi-asset portfolio solutions). Chris had previously spent years leading a variety of product development efforts at Bridgewater, working closely with partners at leading financial institutions to make Bridgewater strategies more accessible to global wealth investors. Chris holds a B.A. in Engineering Modified with Economics from Dartmouth College.
