Each year, the Annual Forecast Dinner brings together investment professionals from across Atlantic Canada for an evening of market insight and good company. A keynote speaker shares their outlook for the year ahead, members put their own forecasts on the record, and the Society recognizes the people whose contributions make this community work.
The evening is home to three member traditions: the Forecaster of the Year, My One Stock Pick, and the Terry Milne Volunteer Award.

34th Annual Forecast Dinner
A record night in Halifax
On Tuesday, May 19, 2026, more than 350 members and guests joined us at the Halifax Convention Centre. Keynote speaker Joseph Tanious of Northern Trust Asset Management delivered a global macro update that gave our members a clear view of the road ahead.
