Membership Engagement Specialist - Hybrid
Overview:
The Membership Engagement Specialist is a member of a small, dynamic team with exposure to multiple aspects of operations within the Society. The role will have an opportunity to work within an organization that is building the future of finance in Calgary through engagement with Chartered Financial Analyst Candidates and CFA Society Calgary Members.
Reporting to the Executive Director while also working closely with the Senior Events Manager, this position provides support and service to a large network in Calgary with a focus on engagement through key channels and events.
Member Services:

Develop and administer member recruitment, engagement, and retention programs;

Operate as a resource for CFAI products and career support services;

Provide support for online and in-person events;

Review and process Candidate membership applications;

Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database reports on Sales Force;

Support and develop the Mentorship Program;
Engagement:
-
Provide content related to membership related products and services;
-
Manage volunteer support needs;
-
Help manage sponsorship/partner deliverables;

Help prepare member focused content and features for monthly e-Newsletter;

Co-develop Candidate communications and data intelligence for social media, and website alongside team editorial planning;

Support brand awareness and visibility campaigns as required;
Skills:
-
Experience in Salesforce, Cvent or Marketing Cloud preferred (training provided);

Experience in developing digital content;

Experience coordinating mid to small level events online and in-person;

Strong writing skills in various channel communications;
-
Good working knowledge of marketing principles and how to apply them;

Ability to manage multiple projects independently;

Exercise problem solving skills and detail oriented;

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to deal effectively at all levels;

Qualifications:

Related Bachelor's Degree

Experience in similar roles touching on elements of database coordination, writing, business administration, and events in non-profit or profit organizations
