    Agentic AI in financial markets

    Jan 14, 12:00 PM - 01:00 PM (ET)
Join us for an illuminating conversation with Alicia Vidler, PhD, a seasoned expert at the intersection of artificial intelligence and financial markets. Vidler maps out the challenges and opportunities for institutional finance embedded in Agentic AI. Programming and coding are table stakes today, but developing sophisticated AI models that can think and make decisions will be akin to learning to play an orchestral instrument in the future, she tells Frank Fabozzi, CFA.   Where model meets market is where real testing will begin. While best practices will include a human in the loop, adaptation from both people and machines will be required, advises Vidler, who is known for translating cutting-edge AI into practical, high-performance solutions for institutional markets.  Key Discussion Points:   Regulatory limits: Why regulations around AI and scaling technology still face challenges in markets that lack central clearing.  Why regulations around AI and scaling technology won’t work in the bond market, which still lacks central clearing.  Future of trading: What trading and financial modeling could look like in the next decade, and why traders will have to explain their decisions around using AI.  Human edge: Why humility, curiosity, and rigor will remain essential skills in the age of AI, as humans in the loop will be critical.  Purpose in practice: How investors can apply AI in financial markets under the theory and practice of “Tikkun Olam”—Hebrew for “repair the world”—by extending services to the retail sector, including private credit for small-to mid-sized enterprises.  This webinar is worth 1 PL credit. If you are a CFA Institute member and attended live or watched the recording on your own time, you may self-report this activity in your  tracker . REGISTER
