    Women's Luncheon

    Apr 14, 11:30 AM - 01:30 PM (MT)
Please join us on Tuesday, April 14th, for lunch and a fireside chat with Sippy Chhina, a highly accomplished finance professional and independent board director. REGISTER HERE Originally from India, Sippy sought greater professional opportunity and personal independence than was available to her at the time. When the opportunity arose to move to Canada through marriage to the son of a family friend, she embraced it as a chance to pursue her ambitions and shape her own career path. Arriving in Calgary in 1985 with a one‑way ticket and $100, she was optimistic about the possibilities ahead—only to learn that building a career still required navigating established norms and expectations, even in a country known for opportunity. Determined to succeed, Sippy steadily built her expertise and took on increasingly senior roles, ultimately becoming a Partner at Deloitte. Today, she serves as an independent board director for Ovintiv, Rockpoint Gas Storage, and Trans Mountain. At the 2nd Annual Women’s Luncheon, Sippy will share her personal journey, discuss how women can cultivate confidence throughout their careers, and reflect on navigating non‑linear career paths—particularly the challenges and trade‑offs many working mothers experience as priorities evolve over time. Agenda: 11:30-12:00 - Arrival & Buffet Lunch 12:00 - 1:00 - Fireside chat 1:00 - 1:30 - Networking The session will conclude with time for audience questions and discussion.
