Originally trained as a Mechanical Engineer, Chioma built a successful 17-year career in banking across Nigeria and Canada, specializing in trade finance, transaction banking, and working capital solutions. After relocating to Canada, she successfully transitioned her career to the North American financial services market and will soon join a leading Canadian financial institution as Director, Trade Finance. In this conversation, Chioma will share her journey of navigating both a career change and an international move, including the challenges and opportunities she encountered as a newcomer to Canada, and the strategies that helped her continue to grow and advance her career.
