-University Relations

Who are we?
The University relation Committee was created in 2006. Our committee is aiming to promote the highest standards of ethics, education, and professional excellence advocated by the CFA Institute and interact with universities and professors.

Our Mission
  • Promoting the CFA programs, the Research Challenge, the CFA Scholarships and the University affiliation program in French Universities

  • Inviting professors to present their latest research to our members

  • Developing projects to improve connection between students and financial institutions and helping students choose their career

Academic institutions that embed a significant portion of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK™), including the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct, into their curriculum may be eligible to participate in the University Affiliation Program.

An Affiliated University signals to their students and to employers that their curriculum is closely tied to the practice of investment management and is helpful to students preparing for the CFA Program exams.

Research Challenge

The Research Challenge offers university students a unique opportunity to learn from leading industry experts and to compete with their peers from the world’s top finance programs. This annual initiative promotes best practices in equity research among the next generation of analysts through hands-on mentoring and intensive training in company analysis and presentation skills.
