Inspire possibility and empower students through a JA in a Day at Parkville Community School 11/20/2025 Junior Achievement's core mission is  to empower young people to own their own economic success. Volunteers, donors, educators, alumni and proven programs help transition young people’s mindset from   "I Can't" to "I Can!”     CFA Society Hartford and Junior Achievement of Southwest New England are joining forces to empower youth ! We are looking for volunteers to share their time, work experience and powerful JA concepts with students in grades K-5 at:   11/20 - JA Day – Parkville Community School- Hartford -8:30 AM -1:00 PM  

EDUCATION LUNCHEON | The Democratization of Alternatives

Education Luncheon Join us on Wednesday, December 3, 2025  MODERATOR: Raymond Bovich, CFA PANELISTS: David A. Hyman, CFA & James Connors, CIMA, AIF Representatives from Mercer, an investment consulting firm, and CAIS, an investment platform for independent financial advisors, will discuss the democratization of alternatives in the wealth management space & how wealth management firms can differentiate their businesses with an alternative investment program. The third annual CAIS-Mercer survey, “The State of Alternative Investments in Wealth Management 2024,” indicates a shift from traditional 60/40 portfolios to a more diversified portfolio that includes public equities, fixed income, and alternatives.
